Homer, great post and great pic! I have to point out that both the refrigerator pickles and the Betty Bars (which go by the name Special K bars at the monastery) are the product of the nuns at Saint Benedict's Monastery. I had a few on Friday at a monastery event and they are exactly the same as the family favorites. It's truly a Central Minnesota meal in every way! (Don't forget the german potato salad and that macaroni salad with the cheese cubes in it... thank goodness that's finally gone.)

Cortado is an expresso with just a squirt of milk to change the color. The foam is the natural foam an expresso correctly done has, it's not additional foam on top.
And yes, tortilla española (we normally call it tortilla de patatas, potato omelette) is very yummy.

I don't know if you could get this to the band in time, but after reading Homer's food blog I thought he(and the rest of the band) might want to check out this restaurant in Cleveland

http://www.cleveland.com/sites/balaton/

It's an amazing Hungarian restaurant on the east side of Cleveland in Shaker Square. Cleveland has always had a large Hungarian population and this is a place where their food is to be enjoyed. (sorry, that sounds kinda corny) Anyways, the food is great, the prices aren't that high, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is chill

I'm very much looking forward to the band's performance at the rock hall. Take care and I hope you can take up the recommendation.

Hey Homer,
Have been enjoying your blog. You always have a great bass drum sound live and studio. I'm curious what is your favorite Batter Side Bass Drum Head? Coated Ambassador?
